CHARMED:
THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON

Three twentysomething sisters with supernatural powers battle the forces of evil and have fun doing it in this collection of episodes from the cult favorite television series Charmed. Charmed: The Complete First Season follows the adventures of Prue (Shannen Doherty), Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) as they discover their remarkable powers and learn about the responsibilities that come along with them.
Episodes include "Something Wicca This Way Comes, "I've Got You Under My Skin, "Thank You for Not Morphing, "Dead Man Dating, "Dream Sorcerer, "The Wedding From Hell, "The Fourth Sister, "The Truth Is Out There...And It Hurts, "The Witch Is Back, "Wicca Envy, "Feats of Clay, "The Wendigo, "From Fear to Eternity, "Secrets and Guys, "Is There a Woody in the House, "Which Prue Is It, Anyway, "That '70s Episode, "When Bad Warlocks Go Good, "Out of Sight, "The Power of Good, "Love Hurts, and "Deja Vu All Over Again."

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON

When we last left the Charmed Ones -- witchy sisters Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs), and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) -- their police officer friend Andy Trudeau (Ted King) had been killed, and Piper quit her job at the bar Quake to start her own nightclub. The second season opens as the girls celebrate their one-year anniversary of becoming aware of their powers in "Witch Trial," wherein the Book of Shadows (the powerful tome that contains all their magic spells) is stolen by a demon who begins undoing all their previous incantations and erasing the sisters' powers. In the middle of all this, Piper unveils her new nightclub, P3.
The club becomes the focus of several episodes this season, showcasing bands like Dishwalla, The Cranberries, and singer Paula Cole. Musical interludes aside, the sisters continue their hunt for demons and warlocks -- and love. Piper meets new flame Dan (Greg Vaughan), creating an awkward triangle between her and Leo (Brian Krause). Great evildoers that show up this year include: the return of Barbas (the creepy Billy Drago) in "Ms. Hellfire"; the demon Litvack (the fantastic Steve Railsback) in "Give Me a Sign," in which Prue is kidnapped; The Mummy's Arnold Vosloo as a deliciously evil Darklighter in "Murphy's Luck"; and a fast-talking Genie (squinting 3rd Rock veteran French Stewart) who grants the sisters wishes in "Be Careful What You Witch For." Shannen Doherty directs this season finale, which sees her character turned into a 17-year-old, eager to rediscover first love, but without her powers.!

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON

The romantic conquests and vanquishing of demons continue in Season 3 of Charmed, which sees the wicked-good Wiccans facing off against The Triad, a group of demons who will stop at nothing to destroy the Halliwell sisters: Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano). The season opens with Leo proposing to Piper, but he wants to keep it secret from The Council. Their secret marriage is interrupted in "Magic Hour" when Leo is sucked from the Halliwell mansion in the middle of the wedding ceremony.
Leo and Piper's relationship problems make up a majority of the episodes this season, until finally the two are joined in "Just Harried." This season also marks the introduction of Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck's Dr. Christian Troy) in the recurring role of Assistant District Attorney Cole Turner. Phoebe takes a shine to the handsome blue-eyed devil -- who turns out to be the powerful half-demon Belthazor, sent by The Triad to take out the sisters. Unfortunately for Cole, he falls for Phoebe, leading to a serious disagreement with his employers in "Power Outage." He finally comes clean to Phoebe about both his misdeeds and his feelings in the excellent "Sleuthing with the Enemy," and she allows him to escape. The 2000-01 season goes out with a bang in "All Hell Breaks Loose," Doherty's final episode in the series.!

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON

The Charmed Ones, modern-day urban witches Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Paige (Rose McGowan), move into Season Four with deeper, darker and more deftly crafted stories. As Piper and Phoebe struggle with the loss of their older sister, they discover the existence of half-sister Paige Matthews. Possessing the power to orb as a half-Whitelighter, Paige joins the Halliwell sisters to recreate the magical triad that protects the innocent and vanquishes evil.
But all may be lost as Cole's (Julian McMahon) demonic side takes over, and Leo (Brian Krause) must face his past if he is to help the sisters in a battle that could destroy them all. With intriguing characters, amazing special effects and the perfect brew of suspense, drama and humor, each exciting episode in this fascinating supernatural series casts a gripping spell.!

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON

As season five of Charmed begins, benevolent witch Piper Halliwell (Holly Marie Combs) is pregnant with the baby of "Whitelighter" (guardian angel) Leo Wyatt (Brian Krause). Piper's sister Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) has at last landed a steady job as a newspaper advice columnist (with Rebecca Balding joining the cast in the recurring role of Phoebe's boss, Elise), and has started divorce proceeding against her husband, Cole (Julian McMahon), whom she suspects is still a malevolent demon despite his protestations of turning over a new leaf.
And the girls' telekinetic half sister Paige (Rose McGowan) is being kept busy with her new responsibilities as a social worker. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Cole's baby, whom some believe is slated to be ruler of the Underworld, has been kidnapped by The Seer, a female demon who in the previous season had briefly taken Cole's human form and trapped Phoebe into marriage. Informed by a fellow demon that the baby is destined to become the new Source (a powerful demonic entity who caused all sorts of trouble for the Halliwells in earlier episodes), the conscience-stricken Cole begs "Charmed Ones" Piper, Phoebe, and Paige to help him exorcise all the evil within him -- and, remarkably, they succeed in this endeavor as season five reaches its halfway point.
Later on, Piper gives birth to baby son Wyatt, who even in infancy possesses the power to create a force field that will deflect all demonic activity (no wonder Piper was impervious to injury during her pregnancy!). Meanwhile, Paige finds her job too confining, and becomes a freelance do-gooder, determined to use her witches' powers for the benefit rather than the detriment of humankind.!

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON

Season six of Charmed finds the benevolently bewitched Halliwell girls under the protection of a new "Whitelighter," or guardian angel. With Leo (Brian Krause), the father of Piper Halliwell's (Holly Marie Combs) son, Wyatt, having decided to become a Whitelighter Elder, his replacement is Chris Perry (Drew Fuller), whose unorthodox behavior leads the "Charmed Ones" to suspect that he is not one hundred percent angelic (though Piper is clearly attracted to him).
Elsewhere, Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano) struggles to adapt to her newly found "empath" powers, which enable her to experience the emotions (and sometimes the pains) of others; she also falls in love with Jason Dean (Eric Dane), who is none too thrilled to discover that Phoebe and her siblings are witches (even "good" ones). Paige Halliwell (Rose McGowan) likewise falls in love with Richard Montana (Balthazar Getty), thereby enmeshing herself and the other Halliwell girls in a deadly feud between two magical families.
And Piper's infant son, Wyatt, exercising his incipient force-field powers, capriciously messes up his mom's love life. Amidst all this activity, there are the usual forays into the past and future, and the vanquishing of various demonic forces who just can't leave the Halliwells alone. The season ends with a treacherous foray into an alternate universe in which evil is good and vice versa -- and it's all the handiwork of Leo and Chris' Whitelighter mentor, Gideon (Gildart Jackson), who is clearly up to no good. With chaos erupting all around her, Piper, who has been impregnated by Leo, gives birth to her baby...also named Chris.!

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE SEVENTH SEASON

The Avatars' new utopian world seems to be working, and the citizens of Earth seem happy. Unfortunately, those who are not happy are instantly "purged," and the rest are in danger of turning into Stepford-like automatons. Now realizing that the Avatars' vision is not the way things should be, the Charmed Ones and Leo (Brian Krause) attempt to return the world to its previous status quo -- but this requires our heroines to align themselves with the all-powerful demon Zankou (Oded Fehr).Paige (Rose McGowan) is suffering from an unidentified pain, exacerbated by a tiny voice inside her brain. Sandra (Elizabeth Dennehy), an Elder at the magic school, determines that Paige is suffering from a profound lack of confidence -- and in the process of resolving this problem, Sandra compels Paige to utilize her latent talents as Whitelighter.
Elsewhere, baby Wyatt continues to exert more and more control over his inbred magical powers, and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) are kept busy searching for Pandora's Box, which has been stolen by a demonic shapeshifter. As a newly enlisted Whitelighter, Paige (Rose McGowan) is assigned to help a troubled young mechanic named Mitchell Haines (Seamus Dever). Trouble is, Mitchell doesn't want to be helped -- and his resistance may cause Paige to lose her powers before she even gets to use them. Meanwhile, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) is trapped in the Underworld after switching bodies with the sorceress Imara (Suzanne Krull), and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) has her hands full with a demonic assault at P3.Working in concert with a death-obsessed alchemist (John Kassir), Zankou (Oded Fehr) begins savagely attacking innocents in order to render the Charmed Ones vulnerable.
Zankou's latest victim is Phoebe's fellow grad student Tim (Colin Egglesfield), who drops dead at her feet. Convinced that Tim's demise is entirely her fault (she has in fact been "accused" by the dead man's spirit), Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) asks Daryl (Dorian Gregory) to investigate the phenomenon -- while Zankou mounts his next and even more horrible offense. Meanwhile, Paige (Rose McGowan) senses that her new student Joanna (Laura Regan) has the "wrongest" boyfriend of all time, and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Leo (Brian Krause) forget their past differences to plan a birthday party for baby Chris. As punishment for helping the Avatars, Leo (Brian Krause) has his memory wiped clean and sent back into the world to start helping people all over again.
Although he doesn't know exactly who he is or what has happened, Leo is still expected to make a crucial choice: either permanently remain a Whitelighter Elder or lose his powers, become a mortal, and live with Piper (Holly Marie Combs). Unfortunately, Leo is unable to assist Piper at a time he is needed most: she has lapsed into a coma after a demon attack. As she hovers between life and death, Piper experiences a spectral vision of a former love (welcome back, Julian McMahon!).The Charmed Ones are challenged by the Enochs, a street gang consisting of demons who render themselves invisible before killing innocents.
The Enochs use their ability to cover their tracks in a plan to convince the girls that the rival Sokol street gang is the one they should be trying to vanquish. Elsewhere, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) discovers that Leo (Brian Krause) is an Avatar -- while Leo himself receives a startling message from a female Whitelighter Elder. This episode marks the first time that twin infants Jason and Kristopher Simmons are given screen credit for sharing the role of baby Wyatt. !

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE FINAL SEASON

After seven years of protecting the innocent, fighting demons, and generally ridding the world of evil, the Halliwell sisters have begun a search for a different destiny -- living normal lives. As the "Charmed Ones," the most powerful good witches to ever exist, the sisters faked their own deaths last year and created new identities, altering their appearances to the outside world but appearing as themselves to those closest to them. Now they must reconcile with their own guilt about not fighting the supernatural evil that continues in the world.
In its eighth and final season (2005-6), Charmed explores the relationships between the three siblings, who after discovering that they possess magical powers are reluctantly thrown into a world of supernatural evil. Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Paige (Rose McGowan), and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) must keep their identity as the Charmed Ones secret from the world, with only each other to rely upon.
In the 22 episodes of Season 8, Piper tries to balance raising her two young sons with Leo (Brian Krause) and running her business; Phoebe takes over as the advice columnist at the Bay Mirror and meets the man she envisions herself marrying; Paige, meanwhile, cannot ignore the Whitelighter in her and answers the call of a young witch named Billie, whose raw talents and sassy attitude will become tremendous assets in the fight against evil. In working with Billie to hone her skills and teach her the importance of what they do, the sisters realize how much they miss magic and discover how they can have normal lives and still fight evil.!
