Hello everybody,

I am trying to make something different in order to make up for the "Charmed Kindle Novel" page that is still under construction. So we are trying to take a new spin this time by preparing new segment every week regarding spotlight on "Charmed Books" and since these books series have been high in demand by every fans out there then it would be nice for us to open spotlight for "Charmed" books each every week as long as we can. Let's start with the online novel penned by Paul Ruditis "Let Gorgons Be Gorgons"!

"When Piper, Phoebe, and Paige undo a spell that turned a local politician to stone, they little realize the powerful magic behind the hex. As attacks on innocents mount, The Charmed Ones enlist the help of their sister, Prue, confined on the magical Nexus, only to learn that the most heinous of mythical creatures—a gorgon—is to blame.

Freed from her underground tomb, Medusa joins her sisters in a crusade to avenge womankind, turning those who cross her to stone forever. At the same time, dark magic seems to be undoing all of Phoebe’s good works, distracting her from the impending battle with the gorgons. With time running out, will the sisters be able to defeat Medusa and restore their innocents to life?

Inspired by the hit televisions series Charmed, the new novel Charmed: Let Gorgons Be Gorgons continues the story of the Halliwell witches. With only the Book of Shadows to guide them, the Halliwell sisters are the fulfillment of their ancestor Melinda Warren’s prophecy that three sisters descending from her line would become the most powerful witches of all time. The sisters use the Power of Three to protect the innocent and banish evil from the Earthly realm."

New Article: Exclusive Alyssa Milano celebrates TIME's Person of the Year in powerful Twitter thread
Posted on 16 Dec 2017

Hello everybody,

On Wednesday morning, it was revealed that TIME‘s annual Person of the Year honor wasn’t awarded to just one person, but a movement: the Silence Breakers. Among those who are included in the cover story, which highlights those who have spoken out against sexual harassment and assault, are #MeToo creator Tarana Burke, Ashley Judd, Rose McGowan, Taylor Swift, Terry Crews, and Alyssa Milano.

"Back in October, Milano was sent a screenshot of the #MeToo hashtag that Burke had started over a decade ago. The actress then tweeted it out and soon, countless woman and men around the world began to bravely share their stories.

“In 2017 women stood up and said #MeToo,” Milano wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning. “We overcame our fears to #BreakTheSilence. Technology and social media connected us all. We can’t turn away from each other’s pain. We are connected to it. We are connected to each other. We are connected.”

In 2017 women stood up and said #MeToo. We overcame our fears to #BreakTheSilence. Technology and social media have connected us all. We can’t turn away from each other’s pain. We are connected to it. We are connected to each other. We are connected. THREAD. #TimePOTY

Milano then continued to educate her Twitter followers on the statistics surrounding sexual assault and harassment in America. She also included, “For every 100 rapes committed, approximately two rapists will ever serve a day in prison.”

You can read the rest of her thread below:

1 in 3 women have been sexually harassed in the workplace. And only 29% report it. 65% of women have experienced street harassment with 23% being sexually touched, 20% followed, and 9% forced to do something sexual. #BreakTheSilence"

New Article: Exclusive When Alyssa Milano’s Role In The Weinstein Scandal Is Complicated When Being Caught In The Middle!
Posted on 16 Dec 2017

Alyssa News icon

Hello everybody,

Well currently it looks like that Alyssa Milano’s position in the Weinstein scandal is complicated, to say the least. And this however indirectly dragged Alyssa right in the middle of the controversy.

"While Rose McGowan is attacking Milano — credited with bringing the #MeToo hashtag into the mainstream — for being friends with Harvey’s soon-to-be-ex, Georgina Chapman, Hollywood insiders are pointing to another uneasy connection.

Milano’s married to Dave Bugliari, a top agent at CAA, the power agency that the New York Times has described as part of Weinstein’s “complicity machine.”

In fact, the Times story — which claimed CAA agents had downplayed complaints about Weinstein — was published Dec. 5, a day before Milano appeared in Time magazine’s Person of the Year issue for her part in the movement that helped expose Weinstein.

After Milano said on “Megyn Kelly Today” that Chapman was “doing well” after the scandal and called her an “amazing woman,” McGowan tweeted to Milano: “You make me want to vomit.”

Reps didn’t get back to us."

New Article: Exclusive Is Alyssa Milano Running For U.S. Senator Or Currently Aiming For Another Political Office?
Posted on 10 Dec 2017
Posted by Admin
Alyssa News icon

Hello everybody,

Alyssa Milano might be a household name thanks to her starring roles on shows such as “Who’s the Boss?” “Melrose Place” and “Charmed;” but the actress-turned-activist is better known these days for her political prowess than for her acting abilities. Milano hasn’t kept her political views to herself in recent years, vocally championing liberal causes on social media, in interviews, and at political events around the country.

"But is Alyssa Milano running for Senator? According to a recent interview with Bustle, political office isn’t out of the question. "Yes, but not until my children are grown . . . I’d like to be a senator. I can age gracefully and still make a difference,” said Milano.

In recent weeks, Milano has been advocating for net neutrality, attacking Ajit Pai’s proposal to dismantle Obama’s internet regulations. Net neutrality isn’t the first issue that has caught Milano’s attention. She became known as a political powerhouse for championing women’s rights and the Women’s March.

Even more impressive, she was also one of the original posters of the #MeToo movement. The trending hashtag started back on October 15 when Alyssa Milano tweeted for more women to speak out about their experiences of sexual assault and harassment.

Milano is no stranger to the political process. Back in 2004, she campaigned for Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry.

"I went to every single swing state, with a bullhorn in the back of a pick-up truck,” Milano told Bustle. “People don’t understand how small politics can be. I really fell in love with the process of campaigns being run out of someone’s garage in Colorado.”

While it seems like we’ll have to wait a few years for Milano to announce her intent to run, in the meantime we know she will continue using her influence to affect political change, one tweet at a time."

New Appearance: Exclusive Alyssa Milano on daughter's future, "I really hope harassment is 'outside her reality'"
Posted on 10 Dec 2017

Hello everybody,

Yes, a few words can change the world. For proof of that, look no further than actress and activist Alyssa Milano. In October, she posted a call-out, asking women to share stories of sexual harassment, and went to bed. She woke up to the an outpouring of #MeToo hashtags. She's featured in TIME's Person of the Year alongside Tarana Burke, the founder of the #MeToo movement.

" For Milano, it's all deeply personal. She's the mom of daughter Elizabella, 3, and son Milo, 6, with her husband, CAA agent Dave Bugliari.

"My hope is that my daughter sees these videos of us 15 years from now when she’s 18 and thinks, ‘They actually had to fight for this?’ I hope this is so outside the realm of reality for her that it’s hard for her to wrap her head around that this is something her mom had to fight for," she tells TODAY Parents.

But Milano is taking no chances. She's teaching her daughter about self-protection and empowerment.

"I’m very upfront with her. Her body is her body. She has privates that people cannot touch. If anyone tries to hurt her in any capacity, she has to scream and she has to tell a trusted adult. I asked her last week what she does if someone tries to hurt her: ‘I scream no and put on my cape!’ She sleeps in Batman pajamas," says Milano.

For her, as a parent, a major concern is bullying, and to that end, she strives to teach her children empathy and compassion. She surrounds herself with female friends, and is dedicated to showing her daughter that self-love begins on the inside and is a big proponent of team sports to build confidence.

"It’s great for girls to learn that their body is supposed to be strong. It’s about running fast and not being skinny but being strong. And to support other girls in the winning process," says Milano. "I love women. I have my entire life around women. They’re my support system for sure. I love dudes too. I find great comfort and solace in my girlfriends. "

New Appearance: 'Now the Work Really Begins.' Says Alyssa Milano and Tarana Burke on What’s Next for the #MeToo Movement!
Posted on 10 Dec 2017

Appearances icon

Hello everybody,

Alyssa Milano, who has roused thousands of women to speak out about their experiences of sexual harassment and assault, joined #MeToo movement creator Tarana Burke on Wednesday to call for more change after TIME revealed its 2017 Person of the Year: “The Silence Breakers.”

"Milano and Burke met for the first time on the Today show after TIME chose as its Person of the Year the people around the world who shared their experiences with sexual assault and harassment, including those who did so as part of the #MeToo movement.

“This is just the start. I’ve been saying from the beginning it’s not just a moment, it’s a movement,” said Burke, an activist who founded the #MeToo movement in 2006 to help survivors of sexual violence. “Now the work really begins.”

On Twitter in October, Milano urged every woman who had ever been sexually harassed or assaulted to write “me too” as a reply to her tweet to “give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem.” More than 1.7 million people immediately spoke out about their own harassment experiences after Milano’s tweet, she later wrote on Twitter.

The call to action came as a wave of women in Hollywood — including Rose McGowan and Gwyneth Paltrow — came forward to accuse movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and other men in power of sexual assault or misconduct. At least 74 public figures have since faced accusations.

Milano, who stars in the upcoming Netflix series Insatiable, is credited with popularizing the movement Burke began more than a decade ago. “I could never imagine this,” Burke said about how large her movement has grown."

New Appearance: Exclusive Alyssa Milano speaks at a discussion about sexual harassment and how to create lasting change!

Appearances icon

Hello everybody,

Alyssa Milano speaks at a discussion about sexual harassment and how to create lasting change from the scandal roiling Hollywood at United Talent Agency on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, in Beverly Hills, Calif. Actresses Alyssa Milano and Frances Fisher and documentarian Kirby Dick were among the more than 100 guests who packed the theater at United Talent Agency for the discussion.

""It is because of Anita Hill that we can say, 'This happened to me,'" Milano said. "Today we want women everywhere to know we are listening and the days of silence are over."

Hill, who brought the concept of sexual harassment to national consciousness in 1991 when she testified during Thomas' Supreme Court confirmation hearings, said this "huge moment" of outspokenness and awareness needs legal and institutional follow-through to have a lasting impact.

"In many ways, it's unprecedented," she said, "but it needs sustained energy."

A key change now, Graves said, is that accusers are believed, rather than attacked and belittled the way Hill was in 1991.

"For the first time, when women told their stories, they weren't immediately dismissed, disregarded, ignored and doubted and shamed," she said. "That brief window of not experiencing shame for coming forward, that made more women come forward."

Hill said that after her 1991 testimony, she received scores of invitations to speak about sexual harassment and she thought she might spend a couple of years discussing the issue."

Charmed Updates: 'Charmed' Reboot Is Still On! The CW Passed on 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' in Favor of the Power of Three!
Posted on 09 Dec 2017
Posted by Admin
Charmed Updates icon

Hello everybody,

The CW is still bent on bringing the "Charmed" reboot for next season. As a result, the network ditched the planned "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" series, also called "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," in favor of the power of three witches. By the way we have added the full captures in high definition from the WB Image Campaign 2000 "What A Night" where the three "Charmed" Ones are there during the promotion of the third season.

""Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" was originally a pair-up for The CW's emerging hit show "Riverdale" for its 2018-2019 season slate. Plans went into development in the last few months but The CW recently decided to pass on the project, which Netflix then picked up for a 20-episode order.

Part of the reason The CW gave up the Sabrina series was that it wanted the "Charmed" reboot more. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Jennie Snyder Urman remains heavily involved in the redevelopment of the show from the 1990s about witch siblings.

Back in August, The CW head Mark Pedowitz told the press that they were waiting for what Urman comes up with the "Charmed" reboot. The creator of "Jane the Virgin" will likely have more details about the new series in January when pilot season begins.

There's also another reason why the network is keener on a pursuing a "Charmed" reboot than "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." The show is solely a CBS property and CBS is The CW's mother network, which means there's full control on what the network can do with "Charmed." The other show, however, is a partnership with Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. didn't actually lose out on the deal for "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" because its arrangement with Netflix meant the studio still owned the series 100 percent. "Riverdale" also streams on the platform after its run on The CW and its availability on Netflix actually helped spike the show's ratings for season 2, thus "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" will have no problem finding its audience in this platform."

Speaking on Today about being a "Person of the Year" and the famous hashtag, which she popularized after sending out a tweet asking other women who had been assaulted or harassed in their lives to write "#MeToo" on social media, the actress explained that she wanted to keep the "momentum" going in the fight to end sexual violence. Milano said on Today:

"As women, we have to support each other and stand together and say, ‘That’s it. We’re done. No more.' It’s vital to me that we really set in some actionable things that we can do to continue this momentum."

Charmed Updates: Exclusive Alyssa Milano Reveals The Highly Anticipated New ‘Charmed’ Reboot Is Not In The Works Yet
Posted on 03 Dec 2017

Charmed Updates icon

Hello everybody,

Diehard fans of the Charmed TV show have been waiting for a reboot for a long time, but actress Alyssa Milano has some bad news – it’s not happening yet! It has been no less than 11 years since the popular show aired its very last episode and many fans believe it is high time Charmed got revived.

"However, Alyssa Milano, who played Phoebe Halliwell revealed in a brand new interview, that, despite the fact that the original cast is all for it, there are no concrete plans yet.

‘We all said that we’d do it, but nobody has actually put that in motion. I am working with CBS Studios on my new Netflix show Insatiable, and that is the studio that was trying to reboot ‘Charmed.’ So I feel like I have an in there, but nothing has changed,’ the actress stated.

What’s more, earlier in the year, CW announced that they were rebooting the show. But what the network was planning, in fact, was a prequel to Charmed, meaning that it wouldn’t be involving any of the original cast members.

That being said, it gathered a lot of criticism from fans who just want to see the actors reprising their roles. As a result, CW decided to delay the prequel and change the script. Another Charmed star, Shannen Doherty stated that the reboot is not happening and that it also probably shouldn’t!"

New Article: Exclusive Alyssa Milano on the #MeToo movement, 'We're not going to stand for it any more'
Posted on 02 Dec 2017
Posted by Admin
Alyssa News icon

Hello everybody,

It was like any other day for Alyssa Milano, the American activist and actor, until she started getting ready for bed. While reading a flurry of articles about Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein’s alleged sexual assaults, her phone went off.

"It was her friend Charles Clymer, who sent her a screenshot. It read: “Suggested by a friend: if all the women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted wrote ‘me too’ as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem.”

“I thought, you know what? This is an amazing way to get some idea of the magnitude of how big this problem is,” said Milano over the phone from Los Angeles. “It was also a way to get the focus off these horrible men and to put the focus back on the victims and survivors.”

Milano added a sentence to her friend’s message before posting it on Twitter: “If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted, write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet.”

And she sent it out.

“That was basically it,” she said. “I looked down at my daughter, sent the tweet, and went to sleep not knowing it was going to snowball.”"

New Article: Exclusive Alyssa Milano's fight for net neutrality is exactly what we need right now!
Posted on 02 Dec 2017
Posted by Admin
Alyssa News icon

Hello everybody,

A quiet resignation has begun to set in among net neutrality proponents as Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai marches forward with his plan. But Alyssa Milano is having none of it. The actress and advocate has emerged as one of the loudest and most aggressive voices in support of net neutrality.

"Milano has been steadily banging the drum for net neutrality in recent weeks, primarily on Twitter to her 3.3 million followers. And she hasn't been shy in going after Pai who, as the chairman, has spearheaded the effort to have the FCC repeal the strong net neutrality rules put in place under the Barack Obama administration.

On Wednesday, Pai fired back in a speech, referencing Milano's role on "Who's the Boss?" with Tony Danza, as well as other celebrities including Cher and Mark Ruffalo.

And then it was on.

Funny thing happened yesterday. @AjitPaiFCC attacked me for using my voice to speak out against his plan to kill #NetNeutrality and the internet as we know it. THREAD

— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) November 29, 2017

The whole thread is worth reading. But it's not just the substance of Milano and Pai's debate that's important—it's that the debate is even happening at all."
